To launch the agency's Women's Sports Division, we sponsored our local women's football team. By designing them a new kit that tapped into the club’s pioneering LGBTQIA+ history, we emboldened the teams on the pitch, generated revenue through shirt sales and earned national coverage (BBC News, ITV News, SkySports). The results - 300% increase in affinity and 18% more club members in just 3 months.
The club’s newly created kit was the first ingredient of a carefully designed strategy to raise the profile of the club and highlight its pioneering work.
We timed the release of the story carefully to coincide with LGBTQ+ History Month and Football Against Homophobia Action Month, giving the kit launch topicality and additional media interest.
